Velcro Rod Rack
thanks to the person who long ago suggested Velcro as a great rod rack for a closet. finally got my great big Round Tuit last night and cleared up the Spillikins pile of rod tubes in my closet:
take the catchy part of one-inch wide sticky-back Velcro and put two horizontal strips on the wall of the closet.
take the fuzzy part of the Velcro and stick it to the rod tube in two places where it can reach the catchy strips.
press the rod tube up against the strips on the wall.
hey presto! a rod rack on the wall! cheap, fast, and yes, you need to clean out the closet somewhat before you do this, so your spouse and the local thrift store will be happy too.

Another simple way...
A bunge cord stretched across a wall will hold many rod cases....mine is on a garage wall but could be done on a back closet wall.

Casey,
Thanks! I am the guy who posted that in February, 2009. You've only misplaced your "round tuit" for a few years! ;)
That original setup is still serving me well & I have not had to replace the original velcro. Funny thing is that I thought the velcro would peel off my cordura tubes at least once a season, but it has not come off a single tube.
I'm not usually very creative, but that rod storage idea has been a perfect solution for me & one that has now stood the test of time.
BTW, this thread reminds me...I have to expand mine!...Thanks for the reminder.
