Even amber wouldn't protect the fly from my casting and fishing, I would have hung the amber bug well out of reach in the nearest tree where it would not be seen for the next 45 million year.
BTW, did anyone else see a very predatory looking pair of legs along the top side and edge of that amber? I may be mistaken but..... 8T :)
