I went to Verdigris Creek yesterday with a friend to do a little trout fishing. The temperatures were wonderful but the wind was something else. In spite of this I did manage to catch two nice rainbows on one of my tenkara rods while my friend didn't catch anything. Now he's talking about getting a tenkara rod.Attachment 12559
I'm jealous! Our season is closed and everything is frozen. Best I can do for now is ice fishing.
Best way to introduce someone to tenkara. Take 'em fishing and catch fish!
I love that little creek! So much fun and almost always fish to be caught. That was the families favorite camping place when we still lived in NE. now I have to try find other favorite areas.
