You had me worried for a minute there, when I was in the service, HE only meant one thing.

That fly looks so light I doubt you'll ever get it to drop into the water. :wink:

the hook compared to other nymph hooks is noticable (sp) heavier...ideally I like this to be sub-surface in the film...If I want to go deeper I'll drop it off of a tungsten beadhead or add a split or two...
the other spiders I fish I've dropped off of a beadhead and the fish for some reason pass on the larger beadhead and gobble up the spiders...

like Donald, I was thinking High Explosive. Glad I was wrong,though fishing with Dupont Lures is very effective.
