Spey Casting Video?
Can anyone recommend a good Spey Casting Video? I bought and have read Simon Gawesworth's Book. But I can't visualize what he is talking about. I need more help! I am most interested in one hand. I've spent my rod budget for the year, so a two handed rod is, for now, out of the question.
Thanks folks

Wrangler,
When I was getting into two handed rods I picked up a pretty good DVD from John and Amy Hazel who teach spey casting in Oregon. Good explanations of each move from basic casts to the more complicated casts.
It's available from [url=http://www.flyfishtv.com:555c9]www.flyfishtv.com[/url:555c9] but I forgot how much it was. Under $30 anyway.
Just remember that all of the spey casts will work with a one hander, which opens a lot of water for you.

The Rio International Spey Casting video features Simon and has a section on the single hand 'spey' casting. Based on what I have read in the book they do go together pretty well.
For two handed casting the Derek Brown video is the best, IMO.

The picture quality ain't the greatest, but the price is right. The link below goes to actual instructional videos which show multiple casts with both single handed and double handed rods.

I found a video with a pamplet that is called Salwater Flycasting 10 steps to distance and power. It is really helpful. You read a section in the pamplet then you watch it on video it really helps you understand casting. It is by George V. Roberts Jr.
