my future fly fisher
I just had to tell this story. Tonight while I was cooking dinner out on the grill on my back porch, my daughter was busy playing in her small swimming pool. As I was waiting for the chicken to finish, I picked up an old rod that I leave on the deck to practice casting with. After a few casts toward a aol tree stump in my yard, I noticed my daughter Lily coming toward me with a wide smile on her face. She just turned three last Tuesday and she was ready to try throwing the rod. We had so much fun, that I just barely salvaged the chicken. She can't wait to do it again tomorrow.
