Right on, sir, I've never been bitten by a snake, and probably never will be unless I forget to watch where I put my feet. And I've walked as many miles in woods and water as any other man, I'd guess. Snakes aren't my natural enemy, they can't eat me, so the only reason they'd bite me is in defense.
