quote for 2-29
"We catched fish and talked, and we took a swim now and then to keep off sleepiness. It was kind of solemn drifting down the big, still river... We had might good weather as a general thing, and nothing ever happened to use at all."
Mark Twain "Adventures of Huckleberry Finn"

Hi Rick, I had wrist surgery a few years ago and am now disabled so my WhiteRiver 5 Wt.,is mainly for economic reasons is gonna be my weapon of choice for a while.it seems abit heavy for fishing in a seven acre urban pond for 9 to 14 inch Rainbows, but somedays I can't seem to cast as far as I'd like. So, I wonder if going up or down in line weight might help with the way this rod seems to feel so heavy when casting and maybe make it easier to get a .little more line out there.would a 4 wt. line still load the rod enough?I,m heading to the Basspro shop in LasVegas tonight in need of some new line and perhaps they can help my confusion.
