New JV Hen Skins
Hi all. Just wanted to let you know that we (Clearwater Hackle) have finished processing another batch of JV Hen Skins. We ended up with lots of popular colors such as light dun, dark dun, barred dun, barred cream, "Hungarian Partridge", grizzly, blacks, browns, and many more. It will take me a week or so to update the inventory on the website, so if you're not seeing a color you want be sure to email me and I'll do my best to track one down for you. These are all from the Conranch line and are the same great quality.

Which of the colors do you consider to be Hun, or is that a new color to itself?

I'm happy to see Lars & his crew following my path in breeding.
The Hun Partridge (wild gamebird) is beautiful but as I raised over 1,000 of them per yer for several years, tied with them and loved the color but as with most wild birds the stems do not suit me as a tier. So?? what to do?? I bred a color family to fit this nitch in the hen side of the Genetics Was progressing nicely and started producing a few JV hens. Not yet a perfect color but I found the fish love em. If at all interested Ya better move fast because I know they will be few and far between for a few years. I have one of the first I produced
and would not sell if for any price. Why? The flies tied with it catch fish.
