Puffball flies
Hi,
I just created a series of dries flies, emergers.. I call them the Puffball flies. The wing is made of a CDC oiler Puff, tied upside down the feather makes a small ball, very resilient.
One of the fly:http://www.pechetruite.com/Mouches/m...erger1_mdm.jpg
You can see the complete series and a step by step tying sequence at:http://www.pechetruite.com/Mouches/tying-puff.htm
I'll test these flies in action during the coming season but I wanted to share the design.

Hi pechetruite;
Rest assured I will be tying up a few emergers Puff Ball style. Great Idea always good to see someone not afraid to share. Good One! Jax

Hi Jax,
Please let me know if the New Zealand trout are taking these Puffball emergers.
I only tested them once last year with good success and I'm waiting for the new season to start here in France.

pechetruite; I hope to try them out sometime in the next few days. Will keep you up with the play. Jax
