Matt: Assuming you ae of age, the first thing you need to do is plant your Kilt on a comfy bar stool at the local watering hole and pull up a neat single malt and ask some fellow anglers for advise. It has often been said a wee drap and a good friend will provide all the knowledge you will need. There is an old world wide saying, if you want to be good at something, hang around those who are good at what you want to do(be). That is why we hang around here, what with JC and LF and the gang, you may not need to look any further. Dig deeper into FAOL, you will find your answer. Tight lines, Jonezee

There are a couple of gents from your area that frequent this board. One is Donald Nicholson, who has a fine web site at www.dtnicolson.dial.pipex.com , and another gentleman from Falkirk known here as Falkirk Fisherman. There is a Falkirk Fishing Club with a nice website at http://falkirktightlines.com/welcome.html . Contacting either of these fine fly fishers by PM or E-mail could gain some insight into fly fishing in your area.
