I am so sorry to here this. I am new to the FAOL Family but to read this would make anyone's heart cry. You, your family and your daughter "Ms. Rene" will be on my church prayer list. Please find peace knowing that God holds all of your hands and is walking with you through this hard time.

Praying for her and you guys, I'll ask the pastor to put her on the prayer list at our church.
Any update?
Hi TomS and all, The last scan results were not encouraging. Although some of the lesions on the liver are gone and the tumor on the pancreas shrunk some, it looks like the cancer is spreading to the kidney and esophagus. She is real weak, and sleeps a lot. She is still doing chemo but it's just a matter of time. Thank you all for your continued thoughts and prayers for Rene. Please keep her husband Justin lifted up too. They have hospice but he's there 24-7. Jim
So sorry to hear this.
Prayers will continue.
Jim, my thoughts are with you and your good lady as well as with Rene and Justin.
All the very best.
Mike
Jim, I don't know what to say to you to comfort you. But I'm about to go outside and have a conversation about this with God. He always seems to know exactly what I mean, even when my words don't come out right. I've been close enough to where you are with one of my kids to have a sense of what it is like for you now. The prayers from folks on this board helped my family then. I hope our prayers will help and comfort you now.
Brad
Jim,
So sorry to hear the news. Have been following the posts and sad to see the progression of her cancer. Having lost my first wife to cancer after a 26 year battle I know how tough this disease can be. We keep you and many others in our prayers as they battle this disease. May God grant you and yours the peace that surpasses understanding.
