Fall Equinox -- Mailed
Imagine it's not the hot month of June, but it's the day of the Autumnal Equinox (this year is Sep 23, 09:51 GMT). The unbearable heat of the summer is gone, kids are back in school, your camping equipment survived the trips and packed away for the year, and the days are noticeably shorter. You're taking a day off in the cooling early morning dawn or maybe just a short evening excursion to your favorite river or lake. You're wondering what to take to the water for some Autumn fishing. What two flies are you going to put in your fly box? Just two of your favorites for September fishing...
This is open to 14 swappers. The 2 fly patterns can be anything that you use on or around the Autumnal Equinox. The usual swap items apply: Self addressed stamped envelope with a sturdy container (only stamps or a few dollars to cover, and they need to confirm to the new '1st class package' weight); flies with toe tags, etc. You'll be getting 28 flies back (2 patterns, 14 each), so maybe one of your medium or large containers will work. This way, you'll have a full variety of flies to play with after the Autumnal Equinox...
The deadline to be in is around the first week of September. My goal is to have them on your doorstep on or before 23 September so we can all deal with the Fall style.

Re: Fall Equinox
I cant pass up on this swap either. I loved the spring and summer equinox swaps by Diane. Count me in with me tying a chilli pepper since I think will have all of the needed materials very shrotly :) and an Elk Hair October Caddis. Promise I will be a bit more prompt in getting my flies out this go around :).

Re: Fall Equinox
Thanks for joining, everyone. It's nice to see some seasoned names (sorry...couldn't resist that easy pun), and a new name!
This will be a fun swap since the bugs are still very much out in September.
