when you hook a fish with a tenkara rod is where the hooks winds up in the fish's mouth different compared to a fly rod? Also is it different between trout and say panfish, due to the way they strike? Just thinking out loud, any thoughts?

I've never noticed that I hook fish any different with a tenkara rod as compared to a regular fly rod.
I have not noticed any difference either.
I was wondering if how you strike with a tenkara rod made a difference in where the hook is placed. Well ok thanks y'all.
