Chota Boots
Was looking into buying both the Chota STL plus boots for myself and the abrams creek for my girlfriend...Does anyone have positive or negative feedback on these boots? Also was wondering hoe well the quicklace system works, and if its going to last long?

Re: Chota Boots
Hi there, my last pair of boots were Chotas and if anyone was still importing them my current pair would be too! They were great boots that lasted me six years of use and abuse, they had the quick lace system and it worked fine.
Hope this helps.
All the best.
Mike.

Re: Chota Boots
I've had a pair for 4 years now. The speed lace system is great. The only problem I've had was when my dog chewed 1 of the laces. Not a fault of the boot system.

Re: Chota Boots
Long time sponsor on here; if they weren't any good they would not have been on here. They are helping to pay for this BB, let them know you appreciate it when you buy your boots. 8)

Re: Chota Boots
My wife and I wear Chotas. Been on the same two pairs for going on 4 years now. They are the lightest, most comfortable boots I've found.
Here's my wife's write up on them.

Re: Chota Boots
I heard your supposed to go at least 1 size bigger than your street shoes, Accounting for thick socks.

Re: Chota Boots
I have been using the Chota wading boots for 4 years and I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a good wading boot that has a lot of quality built into them. I have replaced the quick laces once. I purchased them one size larger than my street shoe to allow for the stocking foot on my waders. I am always impressed with how easily they go on and come off.
You will not be disappointed with them.

Re: Chota Boots
I have the slt plus with cleats, and the Abrams creek when I don't want cleats. I like them both, wear them over waders in the same size as my regular shoes.
