how do you post smaller pictures
Every time I post a picture here it comes up huge covering allmost the entire screen and I'm sure taking a lot of time for some folks to download. How do I get it smaller? Do I do it when I'm posting or at photobucket or before loading them to photobucket. I know this has been covered here before but I can't find it ( I could use help on using the search function on the board too but that is another question).
Re: how do you post smaller pictures
If you're using photobucket, when in your album, click the little box to select the photo(s) in your album and at the bottom of the screen, there is a link button that says something like create URL.
Click that button. The next screen is going to show a bunch of options. One of them is thumbnails for message boards. copy that code and paste it into your message. Boom, you have clickable thumbnails.
Hope this helps.

Re: how do you post smaller pictures
I would point out that if you want to demo something to us thumbnails are too small in my opinion...nicer to look at something larger...e.g. I have my options set at 800 x 600 and they seem to fit well and be about the size other s use....I don't know if it varies from computer to computer how they show up on the web....
Another way is to just list the link.....

Pretty kewl option to be able to click on the thumbnail and have it enlarged for easier viewing!! Didn't know you could do that! Thanks!!

Jim
Quit messing around with the pictures and get back to the vice. I need a dozen of those flies ASAP! 8)

I found that to be a pretty good size... good for quick loading and still large enough to see details... :D
Re: how do you post smaller pictures
Thanks everyone, but Brad you really don't want a dozen adams ' . They just don't last. Every time I think I have enough tied the fish will tear up a couple more and I'm back where I started. I try to start the year with at least a dozen each in sizes ten to twenty and usually have to tie more at some point. Maybe if I could get the ones back that are hanging in the stream-side vegetation I could send you three or four dozen though.
