After-Christmas Swap
Hello All,
Swap is now CLOSED!!!!
I couldn't find an open swap, so here goes. The rules are, you need to use something that you bought or were given for the holidays (decoration, materials, tools, instruction book, etc). That is the only limitation. I am brand new to this so all levels are welcome. This is open to 11 tyers and me. Please sign up by Jan. 6th and have 12 flies to me by Jan. 27th (3 weeks). Post what you intend to tie by the 6th so we avoid duplicates.
Here we go,
Ned

I would like to be in on this. I had one present wrapped in red/silver mylar that would be great for streamers, so I will tie an alewife pattern.

I'm in. Can't decide on a pattern just yet. I will be using tinsel from our tree.

Welcome Bill and Irondragon.
I going to tie pheasent tails. If I finish early, I will start in on a bonus fly. Any suggestions for a beginner?

I will be tying size 4 Chartruse over white Clousers with the tinsel as the lateral line. Water-Ouzel, just tie what you are comfortable with and keep it simple.

This is great....I am glad some of you are interested in my swap efforts. Anyone else up for some swapping?
Ned

Water-Ouzel,
I think more people will join after some of these other swaps end. There seems to be a lot going right now.
-
Ned:
Count me in. I'll tie a Czech nymph. Okay?
Jim

Water-Ouzel;
Does a Gift Certificate Count? Got one for the local fly shop.

Jim,
Sounds great. I can honestly say the only thing Czech I know is Pilsner Urquell, so it will be new to me!
