I think the legs are made out of paint brush bristles.... am I right? Nice fly. I am curious about the abdomen, what is it made out of?
The abdomen looks like beads {root beer}....I only butt in because I wonder what he coated them with....epoxy?
Beads eh? Gotta try that sometime.
That thing should sink pretty good.
Thankx guys, the legs are made out of stainles steel covered with thread and some varnish, the abdomen is made out of beads, they are brownish amber colored black on top with permanente marker and covered with epoxy
Curious now as to how those legs hold up after few strikes? Do they bend or break off...
I wonder if the fish will tend to spit out that prickly stuff????
Actually those flies are not meant to fish hehehe they are just for display, the same pattern that I use for fishing has rubber legs.
