ALASKA BREAD RECIPE

This recipe has been modified form the original that Art Peck gave me while I was in Alaska.
Then my friend, Jeff Hines did some changes.

The above is what I now use and normally bake one loaf per week and have done so for over16 months. I do like it.

Votal Gluten is incorrect, should be Vital Wheat Gluten, what I use is made by Hodgson Mill, all Natural.

Sounds great Denny!! Are you going to make a loaf at the Sow Bug?

I had paid my Vendor fee back a few months ago. We were planning on having Kenny go down and run our booth and fish.
Due to problems that I will not go into here on the BB, yesterday I talked to Mike Tipton, the President of the NAFF and canceled our booth.
Conranch Hackle will not attend the 2011 Sowbug. Will really hate to miss it. Have made lots of good friends down there during the past 12 years that I have attended. We still are a Sponsor of North Arkansas Fly Fishers, paid through 2011.
So will not be bringing a loaf of bread John.

Hi Denny,

I printed off the recipe for the bread. Whether I can make it any time soon is yet to be determined, but I am hoping to. Just finished up making summer sausage today.
