A Dolt seeks information on trout fishing in Ireland
Dr. Dolt, that is. My wife and I are making our way to the Emerald Isle from 20-26 September and my first order of business is to figure out where I should use up my allotted fishing time. Mainly interested in chalk/limestone streams but open to lakes/loughs, acidic freestone streams and sea-trout angling opportunities. Have more gear than I'll need, just need suggestions on where to fish.
Thanks in advance...
Marty
Web Sites to tell you where
I've wanted to go myself, but the opportunity hasn't arisen.
Here's some sites I looked at during the planning stage.

One reason we've delayed is that, other than fishing, there seems to be nothing to do other than look at green hills and castles.
Let me know if you find something interesting over there other than trout.
