Berkley Trilene Fluorocarbon Ice

Browsing through looking at some different fluorocarbon and came across this product. If I remember correctly John Scott hade posted some pictures of his leader while fishing this past winter and seemed to freeze up pretty good. Now I have experienced that myself with both a regular mono leader as well as a furled on, but this is made for ice fishing. Was curious if anyone has tried some and if so did it make a difference. If no one has their thoughts would be appreciated just the same. Where it is for ice fishing it was a smaller spool.
