Prayers for the best.
Neil,
I'm sorry I missed this earlier but please let Deanna know we are thinking of her and hoping all boils down to aftereffects of a cold. It would be great to see here again in her "explorer" garb teaching the willing the proper casting stance.
But, in any case Godspeed to her in her recovery.
Mark
PS: As a side note, I recall the first time we met Deanna at the Delaware River Club and I called her "DEENA", .............well, Himself overheard the error and promptly corrected me as if "don't ever say that again !". I have since never erred in that regard .
Marco,
Lots of people call her Deena and she doesn't mind and neither do I. She is recovering and, Lord willing, she will be home tomorrow. Unfortunately, with several shoulder surgeries and complete reverse shoulder replacement of both shoulders and advancing arthritis she is no longer able to cast. She tried last summer but does not have the muscle strength to accomplish the casting stroke. It has been hard on her but she is still able to get out and enjoy God's creation, so we both are thankful for small favors. Thank you for inquiring and I will tell her that several of the older readers of FAOL have inquired about her.
Prayers are sent from Wyoming!!
God be with this wonderful woman. Glad to hear that she will be home soon. Praying for the best!!
Prayers for Deanna & for you too Neil.

Prayers sent; Grace and peace to you Deanna and Neil
Get well soon, Deanna. So sorry that you can't cast any more- but you'll always be "Ladyfisher" to us on FAOL!
Chuck
The Ladyfisher is home and doing much better. Thank's to everyone for their prayers and concern.
Good news!! Give her our best for a speedy recovery.
Unfortunately the Ladyfisher is back in the hospital as of 6 pm today. Not certain what the cause of her continuing pain so they are doing more tests.
Prayers for you both.

Prayers coming from SoCal for our Ladyfisher. Speedy recovery. Jim
The Ladyfisher will likely be in the hospital for several more days. New CAT scan data shows continuing inflammation of the pancreas and her symptoms have not changed significantly. I have told her about all the prayers from her FAOL friends and many others on my Facebook page. I will continue to keep you all updated as time permits.
Prayers for her and family.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and Deanna.

I continue to keep her in my prayers.
The Ladyfisher has had a very difficult few days. She has some heart issues, lung issues and pancreatitis issues. She was transferred from our local hospital to Billings, MT, which is 125 miles away from Livingston for a heart cauterization and other treatments. As of this morning, May 12th, she is still in ICU. She will likely be there for several more days. I am not carrying my lap top computer with me when I am in Billings so I cannot easily update the BB. I will try to post her situation on our FAOL Facebook page.
Hoping and praying for the best results. We recently got a smaller taste of that with my wife in the CCU for most of a week, thankfully back at home and praying Deanne will be the same soon. No matter how good the staff, hospitals are no fun but thank the good Lord for them.
Thank you for the update Neil. Continued prayers for Deanna. Jim.
Neil,
It's very sad to hear your "feisty" lady is very ill. I wish to see her and hear her wit again soon. My best to you both.
Mark
Love and prayers with you, Deanna! Betty
