I'll be staying Thursday to Wednesday at the Woodlands; I'll be up early for Grayrock on the weekend.
Hey Brad,
We will probably be staying at Gates and reservations WILL be made as soon as I clear my schedule.

I will be staying at Gate's Lodge. I understand that the Lodge is filled that week!
The way things look at work I may not be free but am gonna try like hell
I'll be camping as per usual....but may be heading to Yellowstone early on in the fish in. I have one place to suggest...and if you can get a small group together it's a good deal. Try the Old Au Sable Lodge (above the Old Au Sable Fly Shop). I've seen it and it's very nice. It's right in town, on the river. (Ray's Canoe Livery)

I've got a reservation at Gates Lodge. Jack and I have invested in rope and duct tape to bring WarrenP up. :)

Hey Brad,
Gates is full???. We may have to opt for the Regency Wyandotte Lodge. BUT, I must to remember bring some spray and plywood for the holes in the floor. Oh, and a dumpster to help make our way to the cabins.

Marco,
Let us not forget the sausage patties as hockey pucks (color AND texture), scrambled rubber, bare hanging lightbulbs, the gently swaying screens in the windows, Joey V.'s colorful description of his bedding...on and on...that's what memories are made of! I wonder, is it finished yet?

Mark,
My wife and I stayed there 3 years ago. We ( by your description) luckily passed on the "all inclusive" option opting to use Gates Lodge's restaurant. This dude hasn't a clue as to what is at least basically needeed to attract new and returning guests. AND, my description of our experience there is NOT exxagerated. We did have holes (larger) under the carpet and the place does look like Sanford and Son's place. I think we'll stay in town where the Savages ( yes, wild folks :)) stay.

I have been well-treated by the folks at the Woodland-Motorlodge (http://woodland-motel.com/) . I would recommend you get a place off the highway if available as the highway which goes by it becomes well traveled by the break of day. The Savages have a place reserved there also. They're the quiet Savages BTW unless you pick on Jean.

And some people wonder why the wife and I travel and STAY in our motorhome????..
Brad,
"And people wonder why we book a year in advance at Gates...." At our tender age, we are reluctant to buy green bannanas much less book Gates THAT far in advance.
Mark
PS: But in this case, I wish we had made earlier reservations. We've aways enjoyed Gates even when Castwell would order the last two orders of Perch Dinner ( for himself) and we had to opt for deep fried minnows.
