Hats off to Normand

Kudos are in order folks.
Normand has made several posts lately, GIVING away excess tying materials. It is generosity such as his that makes FAOL the wonderful place it is.
No, I was not a recipient...Just another FAOLer who is proud of Norm's selfless act.

regarding my generosity

thank you for all of the nice words and compliments ;)

i have collected 28+ yeras of fly tying materials that i simply will not use in my remaining time on earth. i have no one in my family that is interested in the hobby i pursue. so instead of just throwing away materials i cannot use, i just thought it would make sense to give some away.

in the materials that i have given away, i may have plucked a feather or taken a pinch of dubbing here and there but rest assured the materials are as good as the day i bought them.

however, in all fairness to every member of this board, i cannot respond to individual inquiries to send materials. i want the give away of my materials to be fair to all members and on a first come first serve basis. i hope that doesnt sound like i'm being mean to someone who asked for materials, i just want it to be fair.

in the next few days i will be posting more materials to be given away. i will say that this will be the last batch of free stuff. hey, i still have to keep some stuff to tie with :D

please be fair and let everybody have a chance at getting some materials
