I have a strong allergic reaction to any type of fall greater than six inches. It amazes me that he didn't run into turbulent weather during that nine hour flight. Still and all, glad that he got back to earth safely. 8T :)
The city of Bend OR is high desert country and the only bad weather would be a thunderstorm; http://thehannies.com/sitebuildercon...understorm.jpg

The "Balloon Man" made it all the way to Cambridge Idaho (60 miles south of Boise), and landed safely, after he shot enough balloons with a BB Gun.

Doug,
Thunderstorms were exactly what I was thinking about when I mentioned turbulent weather. They are pretty much universal across the most of the US at this time of year with the heat and humidity that goes along with summer. With my luck, I would get sucked into the meanest cumulo-nimbus cloud around, shot up to 60,000 feet and return to earth as a 200 pound hail stone (before impact of course). 8T :)
