Benjo,
I know what you mean. I taught VEE to fly fish and now she outfishes me all the time. If it wasn't so much fun watching her land a nice fish, I'd be jealous.
REE
Well old boy, she sure is a keeper http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/biggrin.gif
Nicely done.

Nice Fish . Looks like the angler is hooked on fishing for life now . You sneaky devil .
I taught my wife to fish , now she cannot be held back . We are finally getting some use out of our camper and are getting out in the woods to fish almost every weekend .
Oh Wow I just realized that is 2 fish not one . (grey moment there) Way to go .
Ps. My wife won the fishing derby with a 14lb Rainbow which my buddies still tease me about . You have been warned .
Benjo !!! Way to go !!
JC, ... LoL!!
We pay for everything 3x !! as juniour fishes too!!
At least he's finally slowing down in height and feet, ... so we don't change his waders so often (the old ones all went to the Scouts http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif after 1 season's use)

The smile says it all!
And you know how us ladies like to shop for stuff...now she can shop for fishing gear... 2 of everything!
Most fathers learn that if you teach a youngster to shoot skeet, trap or fly fishing sooner or later they will become better than dad. My mother would catch more trout than my father--he didn't like to take her fishing.

I showed the photo to my son He's in love!

Benjo,
Excellent pic. You should be proud of yourself. Looks nice. REALLY nice.
That's all I'm sayin'... *G*
Jeremy.
What a beauty!!
Oh yeah, the fish are nice, too.
What's that note in her hand? does it say "help, i'm being held at gunpoint"???
nice pics, my friend.
Benjo,
JC brings up a good point, that is two of everything. I used to get out of a fly shop for under $50, now it's usually over $100. If she starts tying, look out, 2d vise and all her own tying tools and materials (but you get all those really cool flies).
It may be a bit expensive, but it's well worth it. VEE is the best fishing partner I've ever had except for my Dad.
Are you two gonna make the Idaho Fish-In?

Just what the sport needs, more female anglers. Great photos I'm sure that your face was as happy as your daughters and you're one proud Dad.
Brilliant simply brilliant.

um, should have clairified girl as girlfriend.
How lucky some girl will be. All my girlfriends have hated when I go fishing. And I think the first fish is a cuttbow.
Cutie only has one t, its not spelled cuttie. Nice pics, looks like alot of fun.

A bum-legged old man and a drunk. That's all you got?
That's WHAT I got.
Benjo,
You are truly blessed !!!
Benjo,
It is my not so humble opinion that as parents our biggest responsibility it to raise our kids right. It is the most important job on this planet bar none. Hopefully we will have instilled in them a passion for the important things and the character to protect them.
It would seem that from the expression on her face she has the passion. God bless you Sir in your efforts.

if you wanna catch something ya gotta get a hook in the water
That's great! We women anglers have to get more women involved in this great sport! I have been doing it for years and I know I am hooked for life.
Great fish, keep it up!!!!!
I like her cap. A woman wearing a cap like that is worth keeping around. Yep, I love that cap. JGW
Sorry Benjo............!
Bet I put years on you with that one.
;-)
Benjo,
Here is the real question. How did you land her and was she foul-hooked? JK

Benjo,
This one is a keeper. She may replace the House of Hardy redhead. http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif 8T

You had better learn to be a happy camper. You only get one try at this campground and it's a real short camping season.
great looking Kid and Fish (gawd I'm showing my age. There is something neat about a woman that is not afraid of a little dirt and fish slim.
Now If the wife see's this she 'll be back on her "Lets canoe the MISSISSIPPI"kick again.with the added bonus of "well you saw HER fish" http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif
Okay fellas.
Now that you know it is Benjo's girlfriend and not his daughter the gloves can come off....
Who took the picture Benjo? I like the composition.
Benjo,
No need to, ... that's why we've been putting birthdates (or at least birth year) in the ICQ slot in the profiles (as you have too).Quote:

Yup, ... both are keepers, so imho, ... the next FishIn, ... if you come with your girl, ... make sure the pirates keep their distance (oh by say a few counties http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/wink.gif )

Benjo;
Nice catch and nice fish.
Now I want to know if that is a Whitetail just over her left shoulder in the first picture. It apears to be admiring the fish and fisherman also.
Nice fish, nice gal, nice photos but....
aren't the captions swapped?
Have fun
Paul
Jack,
I enlarged the image to see if that's a whitetail... It's not, just a bit of brush.
Benjo,
I couldn't get my wife to fish to save my life. I almost couldn't get her to cook it, either. But, she WILL eat it. We spent 4 years in England with the USAF and our favorite was the fish and chips with salt and vinegar... still is.
Congratulate that gal on some great fishing!

"I've often wondered why it is that so many anglers spend so much money on,and pay so much attention to.the details on the wrong end of the fly line.If they took as much care in selecting or tying their flies as they did in the selection of the reel and rod,They might be able to gain the real extra edge that makes it possible to fool a fish that has,in fact, seen it all before" A.K.Best
"Wish ya great fishing"

awesome daughter, and great pics. Memories for a lifetime.
