Yep, 30 feet exactly of clean line with no leader. Hope you have a scale made to weight line, they really are nice. Larry ---sagefisher---
Technically, it's not the first 30 feet; it's 30 feet beyond any level tip. It usually ends up being 31 1/2 - 32 feet, and then you have to subtract off that level part.Quote:

You can get a digital scale that will weigh in grains for around $10 at Harbor Freight or online.
Thanks to all, I've taken several lines off some reels to be stored, then found I messed up labeling them. I might try the Dr. Bill's scale with the pvc base. Randall
I did not know that Umpqua discontinued their fly line scale. I have one and do not know what I would do without it! I did a search and found a vendor that list the scale, but, do not know if it is an old listing or not. Might check with them. Hopefully, they still have some or can get them for you. They work great!
