Sound good Joe, I'll give you a call when I get up to your State and see if you are available. Thanks. Happy Good Friday and Easter!
Hey John,
I too thank you and return the good wishes for a blessed Holy Week. Do have a safe , NO traffic jams and backups, trip toward your summer repose. We left Florida mid March and wish we stayed till mid April.
You and Sylvia should be and stay well.

Checking out a new hard drive in an old computer brought me here for the first time in a long time. Neuropathy means I can no longer fly fish and need at least a cane and often a walker to avoid bad falls. I have many happy memories of my fly fishing days, though, and of the many wonderful folks I met as a result of the sport. I wish you all the very best. Nicest group of folks I ever met!

Well, for goodness sakes!
The same back to you! Went to DC last week, had a great time

Thanks Mark. I hope you can make it to MI this summer. Several have indicated in private that they plan on coming during the HEX hatch in June. The date for the hatch has not been very specific the last couple of years, but generally around mid-June. Maybe we can have a mini gathering like a couple of years ago. Our place is certainly available for that. Hope you enjoyed your time in FL. Wishing you and Luba the best.
On this Memorial Day, Let's remember our service members who did not make it home alive from the various wars America has fought to protect our freedoms.
To follow our American Legion tradition, we planted 1634 flags on Veteran's graves yesterday . 22 of those flags were placed on graves of those who GAVE ALL in combat. A humbling experience that placed the REAL meaning of THE day in our hearts.
God grant THEM all eternal peace.

Earlier this evening I sat for a few minutes listening to my uninformed neighbor shoot fire works and thought about the reason for Memorial Day. It occurred to me, I did not know who the first American who died in our long struggle for the freedom of our country. I did a little research, Crispus Attucks, a biracial runaway slave from Framingham, MA was killed at the Boston Tea Party and is considered the first American casualty of the the Revolutionary War. Now you know too.
