Thank you.
You really capture the moment
Definition of BRIGADOON from Websters:
a place that is idyllic, unaffected by time, or remote from reality
The Legend: The legend of Brigadoon is the story of a mythical village in Wisconsin. The village became enchanted centuries ago remaining unchanged and invisible to the outside world except for one special day every hundred years when it could be seen and even visited by outsiders.
This enchanted day is spent in joy and celebration. Those who happen upon Brigadoon may remain in this beguiling place only if they love another enough to give up the world outside.
Visitors were even allowed to stay but if anyone left the village during the enchanted day, then the miracle would be broken and it would mean the end for them all!
Again,it's nice to see thru your eyes.Thank you.
A slow drenching rain on a cloudy day in the heart of the driftless.
We drove to Devil's Lake yesterday. Barb "wife" did her best mountain climber impression and I held down the park bench while she took photos.
As a taxidermist,I always prided myself in my fish paint schedules.I would use your pics as references.

I lived in Pine River (next to Poysippi) for about 6 years. We had the Pine River in our backyard. What a place to grow up in!! It's where I learned to really love fishing. Thanks for the beautiful pictures!! Brought back a lot of memories.
Thanks,
George
Viola tricolor
It flowers from April to September
My mother-in-law Marjie Jurgensen had some Johnny Jump Ups blooming in her yard a week ago. Wikipedia says they are wildflowers from Europe that are typically blooming from April to September. These tricolor babies might have a little problem with 6-9 inches of snow in the forecast for tomorrow.
The wonders of nature!!
Nice photos spinner. I'll have to make it down to the Driftless some time.
