I'm out in NM right now and was up at Lake City, CO last weekend fishing the Lake Fork of the Gunnison and upper Henson Creek. Pure backcountry wild trout...lots of dry fly action. Having a blast! They don't have monsters like we do on Taney or the #s of fish, but it is fun, challenging, and breath-takingly beautiful fishing in almost absolute solitude.
Hope you're having as much fun as we are.

I hope you'll be able to go too. Obviously looks like you know how to catch'm this time of year. Also have you been catchin those farther down from the damn, or have they moved up that far yet?

Nope! It was caught by a fellow from STL in Taneycomo this July. It was recently made official. I forget the weight, but it supercedes Osborn's fish.Quote:
