I just heard that Jack had a positive cologuard test for colon cancer. It may turn out to be a false positive but he will require further testing. He needs our prayers.

He's got my prayers. Certainly.
Hopefully, if positive, they caught it early. Will keep him in my thoughts.
Regards,
Scott
I was just talking with him the night of September 20 at the North Idaho Fly Casters club meeting in CDA.
He will be in my prayers for sure.

Jack, I am so sorry to hear of your illness. Please know that I will keep you in my prayers for a complete healing from your illness.
Take care and God Bless.

Jack, old friend, you are certainly in my Prayers.
God Bless,
Mikey
He is in my prayers, I'm also taking him fishing this Saturday!
Praying for Jack.
I will pray for you, Jack.
Hey Jack,
All the above calls for prayers etc. applies to/from me also. You beat one crisis already a few years ago, and hopefully you can beat this one also. I'm in Jackson WY now fishing my way thru the parks. I'll catch a few for you :>).

Jack and I had a great time on the river today, many fish were caught! He is in great spirits and is looking forward to kicking cancers butt!
Thanks for the update and please keep us posted on his progress.

Jack,
Haven't been on here for a while. Sure hope you get through this and get back out on the water. Sending prayers from here
Prayers go out for you Jack.
Praying for the best Jack.
Thanks for the prayers guys. My "Scope" check is not until the 21st of November which sucks!! You can bet that I'll be hammering on them to move it up!
Last August I took a guiding job with a local fly shop and between that and just going fishing a lot I'm feeling great. Tomorrow I'm taking a new club member (North Idaho Fly Casters) and his wife on their first trip up the North Fork of the Coeur d'Alene River. Z and I have named most of the Cutties up there so it should be a good day.
Seeing as how I'm making my 80th trip around the Sun I am qualified to be an "Ornery Ol' Man" and not take any BS!!
Jack,
By any chance was the new member of NIFC the one I brought to your attention at the September meeting?
Good luck fishing.
Larry ---sagefisher---
Praying for you and I wish you were back in TN, so we can go fishing. Missing you, you Ornery old man.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Jack
No Larry, that was another new member also named Tom!
In my prayers
I sure hope it is a false positive. I know that Jack has faced serious illness before and has shown the mental toughness to meet this challenge if it isn't.
Hey Jack,
With the number of prayers offered , you may not only be cured but canonized for sainthood. BUT, many of us feel even that would be deserving..........................almost. :>)

Prayers sent for you Jack
Well Wednesday is the big day! After weeks of waiting I will find out if the Colongard test wast false or not. No more solid food until it's over around 4 in the afternoon. Clear liquids and some awful thing I have to drink a gallon of starting Tuesday afternoon. Jello is allowed so I have filled my fridge with lime and orange!! It's going to be tough because I have to bake apple pies for Thanksgiving!!
Just had a colonoscopy a couple of weeks back, I was able to get mine scheduled for the morning. Hoping for the best for you Jack. Put the gallon jug in the fridge, it goes down easier cold.
I have had three of the procedures through the years. Two of the times they found pre-cancerous polyps and removed them. I am on a every three year look see these days. Good luck.
They found 2 small polyps and removed them so I'll probably be on a 3 year check up.
