I don't wanna take your spot if you want to do it. Heck, you signed in and earned it. I do appreciate the offer, and would like it of you are serious, but don't give it up if you want to do both.
I did see the times Norm. I got offline yesterday at about 4:30 central and didn't get back on til about 9:00 central today, so I just missed the boat that I didn't know was even at the dock! http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif I do really like the idea.
Heck, I might just have to do my own. http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/biggrin.gif

Cool!! In celebration I will tie a Royal Coachman with a Trude style wing! Now, I wonder how many pins it's gonna take to get a good one.
Don

Don, I'm glad your happy.
I will try my best to photograph the flies for the swap. I'm no Hans Weilenmann behind the camera, but I think I do a good job.
Happy Tying and Holidays to all.

Gosh, Ron. You hand out a tip like that and it takes half the challenge out of the deal. Hope I win the Sioux Sunset. Is that comparable to the Sioux Sunrise? It'd look good on me as I hike the Paha Sapa, looking for untouched trout streams that haven't dried up ;-).

Elliott, just a few changes in color to reflect the beauty of a South Dakota sunset.
I'll e-mail you a pic as sson as I figure out this new Nikon.
REE
-
What color do you use to depict the wind? (Inside joke for South Dakotans who know that if the wind stopped, everyone would fall down). Congrats on the new Nikon. Can't wait to see the picture

Heck Ron;
You get that picture taken, send it to me too. I'll post it here.
Elliott, you got competition, I would like to get that one too. http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/wink.gif

Swappers,
Since we are only tying ONE fly for the swap, its already appearing that the "I want your fly" syndrome has started. Thats OK and understandable. From Noahsboyz description, I wouldnt mind getting that one myself.
In an effort to make the fly selection random, I will put into a hat numbers 1 thru 12. I will go in numerical order starting with NO 1. That number will be removed from the hat and a number will be picked from the hat. whoever is that number picked from the hat it will go to NO 1. This method will continue thru the end.
Your positions are as shown on the list on page one of this swap.
If anyone disagrees or has a better method to randomly make the picks, please let me know.
I want to be fair to everyone and to be a good Swapmeister.
Thankx,

Your method of alloting the flies sounds good to me. It's fair to everyone involved.
REE
-
I agree. That seems like a fair and proper way to do it, Norm. Just remember, my number is REE ;-).
Actually, I know I'll be happy with any pin I get and it will find a place on my favorite fishing hat. Besides, if I throw some backstraps with gravy on the table, I know Ron will tie me one anyway (Right?)

Elliott,
I dont know what "backstraps and gravy" is but I'm fond of "biscuits and sausage gravy". Hehe. http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif

Norm
-
Norm;
However you do it it will be great. I am really just happy to be a part of it. I just had to give Elliott a little grief. http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif Oh, and REE ties a mean fly!
I know I will be happy with whatever fly I get, and I truly do thank you for setting this up and letting me play! http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/biggrin.gif
Don
-
Dang Elliott,
Vickie saw your post about backstraps and gravey and threatened me with physical violence if I don't tie you one.
Nothing like some good venison backstraps and gravey. Through in some drop biscuits with butter and honey and you've got a deal.
REE
-
Norm,
Backstraps are venison, the most tender part of a deer or elk, and where the best chops come from. The gravy would be the same as for sausage and gravy (which Leah also does well), and then served over the chops and, in our case, Basmatti Rice. Awesome stuff.
My fly is done. It is an Al's Foam Hopper. As soon as I figure out how do do my own Trout Slayer on a pin (have to work out a substitute for the glass beads) for the host, I'll scoot them out in the mail.

Hello, I will be sending out my pin today. I can't wait to see the all the works of art! Scott
-
I am sending a Golden Stone Nymph and a Crawfish. Would the swapmeister please keep one for himself and send the other out? I tied two but did not know which one to send so I decided to send both. Thanks, Scott
-
I was a procrastinator and didn't get mine out til yesterday. One for the swap and one for the "meister".
Yes, Elliott, yours went out yesterday too, one for you and one for a friend.
