The idea is to post what you want for Christmas here, then aim your wife, husband, child, significant other here to see what's on your list.
I'll ask for Peace on Earth so we get that one out of the way.
What do YOU want?

I want a kayak or pontoon with all the goodies.
A Bamboo rod made by Ron Kusse. A Quadrates would do nicely by me.

Happiness & good health for all my loved ones...that INCLUDES my FAOL family!!
God Bless you all,
Mike
The members of the Armed forces to have a safe Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
As long as we get to dream big here,(the peace on earth thing)I'd like a ride in an F-16.
My most sincere wish would be for health, peace and to prosper.
On the subject of fly fishing my wish would be: A vacation to Oyster to build a bamboo fly rod and to fish when I wasn't building.
A safe and Merry Christmas for all. For myself, a job.

I want a Sage Flight 3 weight (casted one and fell in love). And one of the old Orvis Battenkill LA reels, a local fly shop, still need a 5 weight line. Oh and a peak vise, I really like em!
Nothing really. Just want to make sure the family has a great Christmas.
Now, if I really wanted to be bad like Steve, I'd opt for that 3" St. George
with the brass palming brake mated with that beautiful Mike Clark rod!
I don't believe Shoeless Joe will be giving up that combo anytime soon!
Here's another shot that I drool over quite often!

The things I need, I have, the things I want that I don't have are too few and too small to worry about or waste time pining for. So, what I'm wishing for is for all of you and those you care for to find themselves in the same position some day. May all of us have the things we want and want the things we have.
My Christmas wish should be fulfilled about 2:30 p.m. today - my son-in-law is coming home from his fourth combat deployment in the Middle East! AsI write this, he should be in the air somewhere over the Atlantic. My daughter is nearly beside herself - and she is supposed to be studying for her final exams in physics and calculus, but I have a feeling that isn't happening.
My Christmas wish for all the other parents and kin of soldiers is for these wars to be over soon so their loved ones can also come home to be with their families. May God bless and protect them all.
My Christmas wish? hmmm... "We all have another great day!!!" I guess thats it, a great day with warmth and love...:)
I think ohiotubers video, about Dan and Molly helping that couple out, about sum's it up.......:)

Happy Hollidays everyone!!!
That my siblings can see thru their brainwashing.
..... For all of us - good health. Take care of that and all the rest falls into place.
Now, to get back to LF's question, I just can't help thinking about an Elk Meadow - like in a two piece 7'6" for 3/4 from Hexagraph Fly Rod Company.

I'd go for a half wells rather than the cigar grip - otherwise, as shown.
Since Deborah won't likely see this post, I may just have to take care of business myself ??
John
I want an Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle with a compass in the stock and this thing that tells time!
You'll shoot your eye out!
I wish happiness and health to all of you. Also, to win just enough money in the lottery to fish one day with each and every one of you.
Merrry Christmas & personal Peace,
Bruce
Lew yours came in a crate? How neat is that?:p
for my son to finally get free from drugs and alcohol
to see other "lost" family members and friends to get saved
for the guts to tell more folks about Jesus
Merry Christmas everyone! Remember: the reason for the season is sinners like you! Jesus came into this world to hang on a tree for you and me! Are you washed in the Blood of the Lamb?

"And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store? What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more?"
Perhaps, just perhaps Christmas means a little bit more!
The Chronicler
To wake up Christmas morning and NOT BE a diabetic.....
Ken
I'll wish for a lucrative job offer for Kevin! Oh, and maybe a Silver Pheasant skin for my tying desk?
My christmas wish is for everyone to just enjoy their life. It seems that no matter how bad we have it there is someone else who has it worse. I wish that those with bad ailments find a cure, that those troubled find peace, and that we all remember what is important in life and it has nothing to do with money or worldly posesions. Last but not least I wish to learn how to spell
F-R-A-G-I-L-E...its must be Italian:lol:

My Christmas wish is for good health for all FAOL members, and their families.
I grew up in Bethlehem, PA - aka "The Christmas City". It's so beautiful this time of year! I can see the Star of Bethlehem from my place - it's on top of South Mountain.....
http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f1...reet_2382p.jpg
.....and there's a really good limestone spring trout stream, about 50 yards to the right of that building.
Thank you Ed - anyone else with a town decked out for Christmas? It would be very neat if we could have a travelogue here on FAOL. What do you have?
I spent a lot of time in Bethlehem when I was a kid. My parents had very good friends who lived there. I don't remember the name of the street they lived on, but I DO remember if you walked up the hill, Lehigh University property started there. BTW, I clicked on the link for bethlehempaonline and I received a malware warning on my computer. Just thought you should know.
Ken
WHAT MOVIE??? You've never seen the classic "A Christmas Story" from 1983???
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085334/fullcredits
Darin McGAvin plays the father and wins "A Major Award" from a sweepstakes. When open the create theres a 'Leg lamp' inside and he proudly puts it the front window.
You can buy these lamps (in several sizes now)in store and all over the web. Every year I see at least 1 or 2 houses that put them in their windows this time of year.
My wish for Christmas:
To be a better father, husband, brother and son.
The discipline to leave work behind.
The will to live my life in a more generous manner.
To do more fly fishing!!
Merry Christmas to you all!!!
Bob
