Brad,
The bench is even more beautiful than I could ever have imagined!!
That came out really nice looking. Where exactly is it located?
Steve
Beautiful, just beautiful. Well done, Folks.

Are you serious? We have been working on this project for a year. We have been posting about the Michigan Fish In and dedicating the bench for 6 months. We raffled off over 30 prizes to pay for this bench and had several posts dedicated to this raffle. By the way, the bench is at Gates on the Au Sable River in Grayling, Michigan.
No, no, no Kaboom!! We all know that!! Where on the Gates property, exactly, is it set!!! Back by the little bridge?
Ummmmm ... maybe I shouldn't have said "exactly"?
That's real purty Brad. However, That's a bunch of rough looking characters you got hanging around it. Jim
That's what I meant by "exactly".... I know its at Gates I helped donated to the bench so I know that , but I didn't know if it was by the river, by the yard near the shops front door, back past the motel rooms or? that's what I meant by where exactly is it:)
Steve
WOW! Really Really Cool :) :)
Very classy! Good show, folks.
The bench is about 39 paces West of the walking bridge, directly in front of room #9, which is the first room in the last section of rooms.

Here is the view of the river from sitting on the bench. It's very serene.

The bench is beautiful, I can think of no better tribute than to be remembered somewhere I like to spend time with friends and nature. I would appreciate someone doing a left to right identification of the guys and ladies in the photograph.

Mark sorry we missed You when You left, We went over to see a waterfall by Roger's City and then up to the Strait's on Tuesday. We will have to set up a time to do the Dowagiac sometime this summer.
Absolutely gorgeous!!! I hope to make it there someday.
Bill and Jean the waterfall is one of two there, the Ocqueoc and just below those falls is where I first learned to fly fish with my grandfather....no kids swimming there at that time. Further down the river is a salmon stream!
Hugs,
Dee
A Real Gem.
Great job Ray!

I'm glad everyone loved Jim's bench, Inch Memorials did a fantastic job and The Rusty Gates Lodge found a great spot for it. It was well worth the effort now that I see how terrific it came out. Thank you to everyone for the nice comments and thanks to all who donated a prize or bought a raffle ticket to make this happen.
Ray
A terrific memorial to a good friend. Well done folks. I'll view it in September.
Amazingly beautiful. Thank you
The bench is at Gate's Lodge on the Au Sable River in Michigan. Great place to sit and contemplate the river.
Has anyone seen it lately, how does it look?
I sat on it last year and it is still looking great as granite should. The lodge maintains the grounds around the bench nicely.
Nice to know the bench remains in good shape. Has anyone been to Al Campbell bench lately? How's it looking?
I was at Al's bench about 4 years ago. Looked like the day it was installed.
