My deepest Condolences...
My Deepest Condolences...
to Ed's Family and all the Friends he gathered here on FAOL.
I am glad he found and plied his hand in his passion for rod building, becoming a full time rod builder. To boldly go where others fear to tread especially in these times.
And to read of the ways he touched many hearts here is Testimony to a life lived well. I never talked to Ed, but I enjoyed his posts here.
Do you know what Fishermen and Fisherwomen do in Heaven?
They stock the Rivers, Lakes, and Oceans here on Earth with more fish.
I can only hope I am worthy of helping.
So the next fish you catch? Well, you think about who just might have put it there...
Gone from this Earth, but lives on in your hearts.
Fragile creatures all of us.
This is my first post to this fine forum and I was saddened to read about your dear friend. I'd like to add my condolences. We all fragile creatures, all of us, and don?t know when our time may end here. In December I was fortunate to have had a heart attach. That may sound peculiar but I was able to survive with minimal damage and after a double by-pass I feel a lot better.
This may be a lesson to all of us to take better care of ourselves and that includes asking our doctor the right questions. I never knew your friend, Ed, but I could only presume he might have told us the same.
I look forward to contributing to this group of fine people and I promise not to be so long winded again
