Lots of things to do to help the family.
Getting this out now so we can get started.

When you say 'Hare's Ear', do you mean any nymph pattern, or any pattern that uses Hare's Ear, or only a Hare's Ear Nymph?
How about putting me down for a Weighted, Barred Hare's Ear Nymph.
Hook: #14 Nymph
Thread: 6/0 Brown Unithread
Weight: Alloy wire
Tail: Hare's Ear fibers
Abdomen: Hare's Ear Fibers, brown and cream alternated.
Rib: Gold Wire
Thorax: Hare's Ear Fibers, brown and cream, alternated.
Wing Case: Pheasant Tail Fibers (or Peacock Hearl, your choice).
I will post pictures as soon as I get them tied and tested.
I'm in. I'll have to research a variation.
One set of classic Hare's Ear nymphs started on the bench. Maybe a bead thrown in.
Any type of a Hares Ear fly.
Mine will be made with something other than hares ear, but it has worked for me.
Rick
I'll do hare's ear flymphs.

I'll keep Ya'all informed as I learn more.
Bill
Sorry to hear that.

Bill

Rick
Slightly off-topic, but Allan is hosting a Classic Streamer Swap, and he has lots of open slots. I signed up just now. I think it will be a cool swap.
Everyone check the SOTM Thread. I have updated the list. This is not taking into consideration the possibility of new blood joining the swap in the future.
If anyone has a problem with it, or would like a different slot, just let me know, and we will adjust however we need to.
My nymphs are in the mail.
Flies in the mail! Been a while since I've tied this small.
I forget who was hosting, but we a swap a while back where the flies were so small I almost had to use my dissecting microscope to tie them. Some kind of Midge Swap.

OK Got test results, Both Good and Bad.
The Good I don't have RA...Guess the Genes from my father didn't give me that "Gift".
However the injuries I recieved during My "Senior Trip" to that " Wonderful Garden Spot" of Southeast Asia I was at in the late 60's and early 70's has caught up with Me. The Nerve Damage has Hit pretty good( dosen't help bouncing around all day in that Great Truck I play in all week). The prognosis is it will either get worse or it will get better or stay the same.
We will see. I will really miss this swap!
My tying and My fishing will be on hold for the forseeiable future.
Take Care
Bill
