My muzzleloaders more and more become flintlocks almost to the point that that's all I own and use and I've never owned a compound bow in my life. Always longbows or recurves, wooden arrows and two bladed broadheads. For me, many years ago, it ceased to be about catching fish or taking game but HOW I caught fish or took game. In my most humble opinion the high tech scene ran it's course about a generation ago. I'm confident I am in the minority but it sickens me to see where our great outdoor sports are headed. Less and less woods craft, field craft and knowledge and more and more technology. A considerable amount is lost in the translation.
