I think we are a good rain away.
I've heard that statement since August! Don't you know steelheading in Cleveland doesn't start until November?  Just wait until that first run comes in and all the "Crazies" come out. The Rock will be a circus. Glad I live by the Chagrin & Grand.Quote:

THE RAINS HAVE COME!
THE RAINS HAVE COME!
It has been raining in my neck of the woods (near Columbus) for about 13-14 hours, pretty steadily now! The weather radar shows that the north has been getting it too. The temps are expected to drop by about 10 degrees in most places too this week. Bring on the chrome! This weekend could be it. Hope you guys have fun if you go, I for one, am not willing to drive 2 hours to shoulder in next a bunch of other fishers for ANY fish. As soon as the temps drop to the 30's and 40's and it gets too cold for most fair weather folks, that is when you'll find me up there! Good luck if you go!
Yes sir. It rained and I will not have to use the boat. The river with 12 hours of slow too steady rain will make the river perfect by this Friday maybe sooner.
This is a great link as to the condition of the Rocky River.

Oh and if anyone wants to know exactly within a few hours of the condition (clear muddy, fast, slow ect.) I check the river 2 times a day personally. It?s in my back yard. So drop me a PM, IM, or e-mail. I am no guide but I would be more than happy to direct anyone the hot spots.
Respectfully,
Sean
Sean,
I'll have to give you a holler & we'll line up a trip ASAP!
Mike
You bet Mike.
Just came back from the river and it's wishable leaning to fishable, still a little cloudy.
Give me a call any time you want. I will be up for fishing anytime and have a couple of weeks off coming up real soon in November.
Sean
Sean,
Sounds good...I'll call you soon.

The Chagrin is like a vending machine set on free-vend. Giving up lots of fish from Daniels to the mouth.

Was out for about an hour and a half this morning. Had a couple that I didnt get the hook set on when a spin fisherman in the same hole hooked a 20 incher. Still new at the fly game myself and hope to get one soon... Erich

Hi all
Erichthered, this is my 3rd year fishing the river and just landed my first steelhead this year; my brother my witness. I have had the hook ups the break offs but finally landed one. I have taken people down to the river, rigged them up they caught some steelhead, given flies to out of towners, they caught some steelhead, not me not till this year. This year a finally landed a steelhead.
Gents the November 21,2007 fishing report. http://blogs.clemetparks.com/rocky-r...ishing-report/
No really I landed one this year.
