Ron,
As they say, 'Been There....Done That' and it ain't no fun. I have had nurses tell me that having a baby was less painful than having kidney stones. All I know is that is the only thing that has ever put me down on the floor with such pain. Get well.

Thanks all.
Sitting here listening to Led Zepplin, Natilie Cole, and I think it might have been Boy George before that.
My music tastes run across the board.
The issue is up. Thank god for Percocet and Pandora.
I am resisting the urge to make this a worm drowning only site  so you are all safe.
Minor glitches etc... I blame on the meds..
Have a great week folks.
x2 with Sage - man those things hurt!!!!!!!!!! I went through 11 of them over a 2 month period, the first one was blasted. The others were done by basket extraction, and the j-stents weren't fun either!!!!!!! They tried to give me the pain meds but I wouldn't take them.
Hope you feel better soon!!!!!!!
I had a friend a veteran of the 82nd Airborne, WWII vintage. Pete picked up two Purple Heart due to German markmanship (lost his ringfinger on his left hand and a round through the scrotum), he had two kidney stones. He said if he had to have either again, he would chose getting shot.
Ron,
While you are kicked back and relaxing, try listening to some Rolling Stones music, or maybe AC/DC singing 'Hard as a Rock', or Simon & Garfunkel singing 'I am a Rock', or Bob Dylan's 'Like a Rolling Stone, or Electric Light Orchestra cranking out 'Turn to Stone'..............so many choices. :)

Ron,
Sorry to hear that. I can't speak from experience, but I heard from some of my former coworkers years ago about their former coworker who nearly ripped a urinal off the wall passing a stone. I can't imagine the pain. Of course you will be in my prayers for a speedy recovery.
Paul
Ron;
I hope everything goes well for you , and prayers from the right side are indeed sent. Never had the experience ( and don't want to) but I have freinds that have gone through it. OUCH !!!
Mark
I've been there. Not fun. Get well soon Ron.
I will pray for you too Ron.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Medical problems many times seem worse than they are only because we can't do much to speed things up.
But just think, it's only two months 'til spring. Just enough time for you to get up to speed. ;)
