Mine are well under way and I will concur with the sentiment it is not the easiest material to work with.
BTW I have changed from doing a San Juan worm to a NOEWASUIT. (Nothing On Earth With A Stump Under IT). Pretty sure I can get a Bass to try it.
I am going to mail them when I go to the MI fishin.

Hasn't been a problem for me, but I don't wrap the hook shank with them. I guess my pattern is a lot simpler.

HELP!!!Okay guys. I'm having the hardest time keeping these little squigly things from spinning on the hoo. I've been trying to place a few in the tail position. I first wrapped a base of thread before placing the squiglies on top, applied super glue, and held them in place before trying to tie them down. Still spin. I tried holding some cut pieces in my fingers and applying the glue to the stump. When the glue dried and I put the stumps on the hook and tried tying them down, the clump of stumps still spin on the hook.
How did you guys get these things to stay put?

Run the plastic onto the hook, not all the way up. Wrap thread down hook and place super glue on it.
The push plastic tail up over the glue. Let set and then wrap.
Helps hold it in place, but b e careful wrapping the tail in.

Allan,
Try the "San Ron Worm" pattern by Ron Gaddy. It's on YouTube. About as simple as it gets.

Guys,
Thanks for all the suggestions. I was able to use some glue, 2 different types, to get the material to 'behave somewhat'. Then tied some silly pattern. Just loosely define 'pattern' :). They're not exactly artistic but will be in the mail Saturday or Monday.
editing to update: Mailed today.
