After tying them and putting the tags on, I noticed on some the wings were splitting. This is most likely because the goose quill is old or is from a wild goose as I picked these up at a national wildlife refuge (Canada geese). By the time I noticed they were splitting they were all tied, otherwise I would've started using Hard as Nails as a bonding agent. But you get the idea how it's tied anyway.

got mine today too. sorry to anyone who received a split wing on their leadwing coachman. But at least you get the idea and it should still fish anyway since the peacock herl suspended in the film by the hackle is what's the major trigger for trout.
