Wow Baz, I look forward to trying those out!
2 fello Australians already on, maybe the next one fellas. Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, awe, awe ,awe, go Australia :)
They sound like some good flies barry.
Good afternoon
Greenrock.
Flies good or just very average or just plain a mess, this factor is always in the holders/the fisher person's eyes.
And now the trick
the trick is watching,
if I only could,
watching anybody threading a leader through the eye of #22's..... and better still, as the sun sets and fish are feeding.
18's are easy to thread, 22's thats a whole new adventure, even to see the eye hole.
Little hooks are easy to tie on, (with a trick or two) well down to 22's are, but the 32's...I've given that up now as my eyes are now 65years old.
Kind regards,
UB
Hans, I got your flies. Thanks a million. Okay, tonight, December 27, at midnight is the cutoff for joining in this unique and interesting swap. We have enough to complete a decent swap even if we didn't get our dozen. I wished we had some folks from some of the other countries who post here to have joined us. I can keep hoping. JGW
Glad the flies made it, you never know what happens in the mail, especially during these dark days round Xmas...
Hope you found the cash as well....?
If there are more flies in the package than required for the swap, just feel free to use them.
All the best,
Hans
Bump...
;)

Hello gentlemen... I am so sorry to be dragging the chain a little on this swap. I have been away for a short while and then with some work problems. Once I get down to tying something I have no idea still what to do. Recently Uncle Barry and I have been discussing the good old Australian Blowfly, and I have been spending a few days trying to tie a respectable imitation. I thought it might make an interesting inclusion for the swap - something handy to have around but not too many bother to tie them. (I see why nowm jeez they are a pain!) Anyway folks, nearly done, will be away this week.
Just thought as I was rereading the thread, seems a few people interested but not available right now... if this goes ok and there is interest in another international, I am happy to host the next?
I've got two sets nearly done.
acouple flies and it'll be over. need to get some paired goose wings though...
