Sorry to hear about the broken fly rod, just remember, we have all gone through the same situation (once is one time too many)!
Now comes the part, where you call up the manufacturer, of the fly rod. They will tell you where and how to send it back to them, and the cost of replacing the broken section.
Most are fair, and equatable about broken rods, this happens all the time. Ask them to determine, if the break was a faulty rod or a fault fly angler. It may cost you a wee bit, but not as much as buying a new fly rod.
