C&R is practiced here in North Dakota with the less popular game fish like Bass and pike.
Selective Harvest is practiced with walleye, with many folks keeping the "eater sized" fish (14-20 inches) and letting the little ones grow and the big ones go back to be caught again.
When it comes to panfish, I think perch, crappie, and bluegill get hammered pretty bad. And as for trout, I think it's 50/50 C&R and take and eat.
