Great idea! I have been wanting a case I could carry two reels and two spools.

Another dollar store hint....they have "neoprene" can/cup insulators that work ok as a reel case. The neoprene if it is neoprene is marginal but what the heck the price is right. The ones I have have a clip [could attach to a vest/etc] and a cord closer.
I like individual reel cases... then you can use these storage cases we've been talking about without partitions...gives more space.

An old brief case into which I added some dividers. I don't need fancy padding as the case is always in the pickup.

Actually, I cheat and most of the better quality reels are in their own (factory) padded covers at all times. (I took 'em off for the photo)
I use the covers, as they come with the reels, why would I pay for more padding and carry around the extra weight (and it's heavy going from the pickup to the picnic table ;) ).
