I stink at dries. I would like to join if there is room.

There's room, Chris. Welcome to the swap.
OK, folks. We have a full swap. We also have more than two months to get the flies finished. Even those of us who completely fail to comprehend the mysteries of size 18 hackle should be able to accomplish something by January 1st. Remember, no late flies accepted. I'll try to remember to post a reminder every so often. Here's the snail mail and email addresses:

Please do not use metering to affix your postage. It doesn't work well for swaps due to time issues.
I'm looking forward to seeing all your treasures!!
Stan, got your flies in the mail. You don't stink at tying dries but that's ok because I can tell that we're going to catch fish with these.
Thanks so much for that sample you sent. Excellent quality!! I'll put them to good use!
Diane,
Finished the flies today. They'll go out to your address on Monday. In your honor I tied a female, Biot Bodied, Parachute Adams in size 16. Hopefully they'll be recognizable as an Adams. It was fun, thanks for putting it together. I look forward to seeing everyone elses efforts after the 1st of the year.
alra and cstan, your flies got here today. Looks like the mail was held up based on your postmarks so I guess we're lucky they made it. They look great and now I'm convinced that I really do stink at tying dries. Thanks for the extras!
Diane
Well, I still seriously stink at tying dry flies but at least I've figured out how to tie a parachute now. So I'll be tying parachute Adams with dubbed body in a size 12. They're not pretty but they'll float.
Don't worry, My flies will make your flies look good in comparison.Quote:

Since St. Croix guy is going to do an Elk Hair Caddis, I will change to the non-hackled and ribbed version. This version is designed to ride low in the water like a spent caddis. Least it will not be an exact duplication.
