Thoughts and ideas for tying Top Water-Warm Water flies...Foam flies made from many types of foam, Poppers in all size's both home made or store bought bodies, Sliders which are made to rest on top of the water and when pulled or stripped in dive under the water, Deer Hair flies, Bug imitations in large and small sizes, Hoppers in many styles and many, many more types of floating flies. Hope this inspires all you warm water fisher people out there.

Here's a thought: Here in Central Texas this year we had a Caddis hatch and they were well over 2 inches long and by the millions the bass and bluegills were tearing them up. I never saw a hatch of this size in my whole life...The shore line's were covered to about 6 feet and at least 3 inches thick of dead Caddis. Now if only I had some huge Caddis tied up (Sigh) :).

Nag, nag, nag. -- o.k. as long as I'm not stealing someone's spot I'll jump in here if I can. Pattern T.B.D. - debating between a D.H. bubble butt bumble bee or a combo hair/foam mouse.

Count me in. Biot Midge told me about this swap.
It's been awhile since I've swapped topwater flies.
I'll tie up some STP Frogs... The question being, with or without weedguard?
