I would resolve to have more patience... but I'm no doctor. Besides... I don't have any time for this stuff! :p
No real resolutions this year for me. I'm still using the resolution I made several years ago not to lose fish through laziness or thrift. I retie if 'someone' puts a wind knot in my leader, check knots well before the first cast a check the leader/tippet frequently and all sorts of little things. The landing success rate has sky rocketed WHEN I get to fish!

I have already kept my resolutions, bought the wife a new quilting cutting table, took the dogs for a second walk today, and went fishing on 010110.
Damn I am good...
heck I may even pay my self by going fishing again...

There's a few things I'd like to accomplish this year, though I wouldn't say any of them would be classified as a 'resolution'.
1. I'd like to get a better understanding of my faith. No doubt it will mean changes, not always comfortable ones, but I need to learn about myself and figure out just what I believe in, and grow in that direction. I've been floating in a sort of spiritual indecision for too long.
2. I will be more health conscious. I'm not setting any sort of numeric goal like a certain target weight. I just want to cut some of the crap from my diet and replace it with plants. I also would like to get more exercise. Not a mandatory run or workout, but rather the little things. Take the stairs, walk a mile upstream before starting to fish, that sort of thing.
Those are my big goals. Among my less-important objectives are:
3. Photography: I'm just starting to get into this. I dont need to be the best, but I would like to gain a proficiency beyond the casual user.
4. Bass on the fly: one of my best fishing buds is really into bass fishing. Two summers ago we spent many a weekend out on his canoe with spinning & casting gear. Last summer, I declined in favor of fly rods and trout streams and really missed the good times with a friend. This year I'd like to try and combine the two.
5. Classic Wet Flies: Every time someone mentions these, there's always a comment to the effect of, "Those old flies are still very effective, its a real shame noone fishes them anymore". I'd like to change that. From the simple to the complex, I'd like to learn to tie and fish them, hopefully tracking down some of the now-rare materials that many were originally tied with.

Get a new job. One in which I don't have to work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. Might be hard as I don't intend on taking a pay cut.
