Hi Allan,
Wishing you the best possible outcome and as much time as possible
with Sasha. The wife and I know all too well how close we can become
to our four legged friends. Our terrior Bobo spent yesterday at the
vets. He had to have some tooth extractions and went on antibiotics
for a gum infection. Got his shots and annual checkup while he was
there. Doc said she was concerned with the bloodwork and wants him
back next week for more testing. Said there may be liver problems.
Almost as if one of the kids were ill. Our wonderful 4 legged buddies
ask so little of us and give so much in return. Warm regards, Jim

:( Allan, Just saw your post. Hope you have more time with your pooch!
I know what your feeling. I had a black lab named Sasha, and I still miss her. It seems all dogs that you have just becomes one of the family.

Hey Allan,
As you know, I recently just went through the most heart wrenching task of putting down Mandy, my English Springer Spaniel. It was one of the toughest things I've ever had to do. I didn't own her, she owned me; and side by side we shared 14+ years of some of the most fantastic bird hunts and a special bond that words cannot describe.
Thankfully, I received much support and comfort here from all of my friends and fellow dog lovers, and one friend even sent a very, very heart touching gift, TWICE! (Thanks, Phil). Through the loving support of everyone, it made it much easier to move forward, remembering and cherishing the many life enriching memories we had created together.
I know she's waiting for me to join her when my time comes, for what I'm sure will be a joyous reunion and an awesome welcome hunt.
Allan, you have many friends here, please know that we're here to support you too.
Terry

I am so sorry to hear about that. I know your heart must be breaking. I've been in your position, and the timing is never easy. I know you're going to enjoy all the given time you have.

Allan,
I"m sorry to hear about your dog. I think it must be a result of the fall of Adam and Eve that we're lucky to get 12 years with a good dog, but a parrot will live 75.
I konw it won't be easy when the time comes. But hang in there.
All the best,
Terry
