Just got back home. Really had a great time. Met a lot of FAOL members. Did a lot of fishing and caught a lot of fish. Weather was great too. Thanks a lot to Leonard and his family for his hard work on putting this together.
Was great meeting you guys, Larry. Glad y'all had fun. Did you take some pics that LF could use for the report?

My New Year's resolution is to have more fun...even if YOU don't.
I took very few pictures, but I do not know how it will turn out yet. I was having so much fun fishing that I forgot about taking pictures.
One time when the fishing was slow, I took some underwater pictures of trout. There was at least fifteen trout following my footsteps when I was wading.
Leonard:
Many thanks for all the hard work you put in on organizing the Fish-In. As I mentioned just before we left yesterday morning, trying to get a bunch of fishermen to all show up at the same time, when they would rather be fishing is very much like herding cats. I must be getting old. Kurt and I could take about four hours of fishing per day before we just pooped out. I think that cold Taneycomo water just wiped us out. Frito-Lay out in Topeka must hire some really tough people. Larry and Dave are the most indefatigable fishermen I have ever seen. They usually started shortly after daybreak and didn't quit until after dark. Thanks for looking us up at the campground to give us the Dots. I hope your ankle is doing well.

Ken thanks for getting Kurt and I started out on the right foot in the river. Even if you did put me in the spot with no fish. I had a great time in spite of having to listen to you and Kurt debate societal rights and wrongs. Has your solar blush faded out yet?

Yes, I am good to go at this point. Didn't even peel much at all. You're very welcome, even though Kurt did get the best end of that deal. http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/wink.gif I always enjoy talking current events and history with economists. They have a more pragmatic and logical approach than most social science types do. They tend to recognize patterns and trends instinctively, and have an appreciation for group behavioral dynamics. I am thoroughly convinced that virtually everything in human history/current events boils down to economics...even religion. But I'm not completely persuaded on religion yet. Anyway, sorry you had to "endure" all that. I also enjoyed your insights on healthcare and fitness.
Any time you fellas head back this general direction, I'd be happy to join you.
